Al Filo de la Frontera - Character Development and Storyboard

On 2017 I had the opportunity to work on the film "Al Filo de la Frontera" a production from "Anima Estudios". I was part of the character design team and worked as a character development artist and as a Storyboard Artist. Here are some of the character that I was able to work on, making the turnaround, mouthchart and expressions. My art director/supervisor was "Fernando "HiNO" Hinojosa", thanks to him I was able to achieve the goals and get a better understanding on the designs. As my art director said, and I quote "In 2017 we, at Anima, produced an animated feature in record time: 6 months from begining to end. It was nuts!", It was crazy as he said, because we had little to no time to develop everything.

For the storyboard part, my Supervisor was Julian Van Bores, I dont have all the Storyboard that I worked on, just these small parts, but I hope you enjoy them.
